For the price these are great. The clarity is very good...actually the sound is clearer and better than just listening to the TV without them.

Hearing What the rest of the Family Hears

I have owned a couple different 900MHZ Headsets. This is the best one I've had for clarity and volume control. I can watch TV all night and never wake anyone in the house. It also helps me to hear what is being said on the TV.

The only thing that I have found annoying is putting the headset in the stand to recharge. You must have an extremely light and balanced touch. It just doesn't work well for older folks with big shaky hands. In order for it to charge, the green light must come on. It is very rare that I can set the headset in place it in place and get this to happen on the first try. It usually takes four or five tries. There you have my only complaint.

I would buy this item again because of the comfort of it sitting on my head and ears and the clarity and volume. For theses things it is a good buy and a good product.

Better Than Expected
After much research I purchased these headphones. Although I was not familiar with Cables Unlimited,based on price and reviews i purchased them. Better than expected. Quality,sound, ease of setup were great. Having some hearing loss,I was missing audio from my TV. Not anymore. I've had these for 2 months with no problems.Set up was very easy with clear directions.
I would buy these again, and will recommend them.

Just what the doctor ordered
I am perfectly happy with these headphones which I use to watch TV through my stereo so as not to disturb others in the house as I'm a little hard of hearing. They deliver very good rich sound quality and I can hear every little obscure noise that I never noticed on TV before. I can even leave the room to do dishes and still be able to listen to my shows, TV or Radio or whatever! They come with an ingenius comfort strap across the top which self adjusts to your head size and cup around your entire ear but do not block out outside noises so you can still be aware of your surroundings etc. I haven't had them long but after the initial 24 hour battery charge stipulated in the manual, they lasted an entire day before redocking them. They do come with the volume turned down to zero, so don't forget to turn it up the first time, using the knob in the earpiece. I know I will enjoy these for a long time to come.

Good headset, but...
This headset for overall is pretty good but it has some needs to be addressed in order to be a 4 or 5-star headset even at this price point:

1) And a big one: the mic and headphone plugs are separate. For a desktop or older laptop this might be OK. But, a lot of new laptops have a combined mic/headphone jack. One could buy an adapter but that would add to the cost and to the bulk. And, yet, another adapter to carry around. Combining these two plugs and even maintaining the 3.5mm plug size would also allow it to be used on an iPhone (hint, hint).

2) Although quite comfortable there is no adjust-ability to the wrap around neck band and thus it protrudes from the back of your head. So, if you were to lean back in your chair the headphone will pop off. This can be an issue for a long conference call or if you are in a lecture for an online class or on an airplane flight.

Works well!
This was a gift for an older person who is a little hard of hearing and I was told that this was excellent. It was used for Skype computer call and it was comfortable to use. No complaints at all!

Good value headset for gaming.
I got a couple of these to use for gaming when a bunch of us get together. Everybody who has tried them have reacted positively and have been surprised at the low cost.

not what was expected
The cable is too bulky and thick. I got a different impression from the pictures. But it gets the job done.

Simple Cable
Does what it needs to do, use it for in the car listening through my stereo from my phone.

Good item. Works well and the cable is of good length size, quality is good to.

This is exactly what I needed to hook up my mp3 player to the car, and my iPod to the stereo, and my laptop to a speaker system.

Plug in stuff that you couldn't before you had this
It's good for playing with things that have headphone outputs that you want to play out of other things that accept headphone inputs.

Super Comfy!!!
These here are some bad boy headphones! The bass will rattle your little pea sized brain! They are also the most comfortable headphones I have ever placed on my oversized head! Great headphones for the price!

Great sound, short cord
Sony lives up to their reputation in sound quality. The bass is great, the highs are crisp and clear. The plug is a right angle style which reduces cord stress, great for a laptop or an old school Discman. They are very comfortable and lightweight. Made in Thailand, not China.

As other reviewers have noted, the cord is simply too short (only 1m length). But for headphones, one can't complain too much. Now where's my stereo-mini extension cord...

Good cheap headphones
Good, cheap headphones for computer use. The sound is good and very adequate for using on a computer. The head band is made of plastic and is a little on the loose side. The cord is very short and that is why it is worth 3 stars.

Sony headphone work well but the wires are far too short.
I think Sony figure the person using this would have the unit in their front pocket. If they'd lengthen the wires it would be a very good reasonalbly priced unit.

I've had these of years (25 years) they still work great but to foam covers fell apart, guess I will get another they should out last me!

excellent addition to the HF100
I bought this mic as I record alot of bands live and the onboard mic picked up alot of background noise.
The DM-100 picks up the drums much better than the onboard. Very clear, very nice sound.

Some things to note:
Once you get this mic, you'll never use the onboard mic again
This mic is made in Japan, its superior quality
Records live bands very well.
this mic does not get in the way of good recordings, good presence on the top of cam

I looked at the Rode mic also. I didn't want any wires that could short out eventually, so I steered clear
of that. I now see that canon is making a 5.1 mic for their newer cams. I'll probably go in that
direction eventually.

Dead rat
Like it. Good sound pickup. Get some funny looks at times. A little pricey though.

I've actually had comments that this year's video had better audio than last year's. The proof is in the product.

Mic Pretty Good
I've been using it since I bought it and its been working well for me. I suggest it to all buyers!!! Definitely handy for a variety of circumstances.

for use in that AUX imput on your car
A good quality car to ipod cable. I bought cheapo models that break at the stress point where the cable meets the jack. This jack is pretty beefy and should last a long time even when they are jerked at bit in a car.

Works great with my iPad
I purchased the Pioneer DEH-2200UB CD Receiver with iPod Direct Control and USB Input and needed an auxiliary cable since my iPad was not compatible with the iPod input. This cable is perfect! The length is just right and the heads fit snugly in place. Using the receiver's auxiliary input I can now listen to my music on my iPad through my cars stereo speakers. I especially like that the cable is black and gray instead of white that sounds out like a sore thumb. The cable blend nicely with the receiver and the interior of my vehicle.

iphone 3GS cable

I order this one since my new corrola has aux and I have a droid incredible with Pandora.....it works seamlessly on my car. great product!

I keep it in my car in case I or one of my passengers wants to hook up their audio player. Works great, not too long, sound quality is good and so far I haven't seen/heard any issues with it, hopefully it'll stay that way.

CABLES
THE AUDIO CABLE WORKS JUST FINE, I HAVE MY COMPUTER HOOKED UP TO MY FLAT SCREEN TV AND SURROUND SOUND, AND IT'S HEAVENLY.

I use this to connect the audio from my Dell Dimension 2400 to an LCD TV. The sound is decent.
