I only use this for the headphone jack, but it works fine with that. I broke the headphone jack on my laptop, and this has been a saving grace. Originally got a turtle beach unit, which was 10 times the price, installed its useless software, and I eventually broke it anyway. Replaced it with this, which is dirt cheap, and as far as I can tell, it works fine. I even broke it too (bending it the USB joint off the laptop), but I was able to re-solder it and potted the whole thing back together by filling half the case with superglue. It probably ought to be dead now for a multitude of reasons, but it's just trucked on. I had tried to re-solder the turtle beach unit when I did the same thing, and I think I burnt a component. But this junky chinese unit it remains 100%.

Mediocre
This adapter gets the job done but falls apart fairly easily... its very flemsy and fragile. It is plug and play but the quality of the materials is terrible... I would not recommend this to a friend

Essentially, You Get What You Pay For
First off, here is the system on which I'm using this product:
Lenovo W500
Windows 7 Enterprise x64
Getting started: This was easy. Just plug it into the USB port, Windows 7 takes care of the rest. But be careful when you plug in your headphones (below).
Sound Volume: Far too loud. The volume adjustment can be pretty tricky. Everything must be set pretty low to avoid destroying one's ear drums, but the lower you go, the worse the sound quality. This is by far the worst quality of this device. Setting this device's volume from 100% to 50% produces no audible change in volume. The only change I can hear is from 2% to 1%, and obviously 1% to muted is audible. Even at 1%, I have to set the application's volume fairly low as well (windows media player, firefox, etc.). In addition, I recommend muting "system sounds" because those will come through at full volume and scare the bejeezes out of you (not to mention hurt your ears) when you get an email, get an error, etc.
Sound Quality: This little guy has trouble producing quality low-output sounds. For instance, at the end of a song, you can hear a hissing and immense distortion as the song fades out. The bass response could be beefier as well, but this is a very inexpensive product, so I wouldn't expect much better.
Microphone: Not worth a damn.
Quality of Materials: So far, it has stayed in one piece. It's a bit fat for plugging into a vertical USB port, so make sure your ports are far enough apart or horizontal. If my laptop weren't propped up, the wouldn't even be able to plug this guy in. Frankly the materials feel cheap and crappy, and that's because this product is extremely cheap.
Overall: It does it's job, but the quality is lacking for any serious use.
Buy It Or Not? NO. Spend another - and get something of better quality. This is my finding time and time again. Cheap things are generally cheap, with some exceptions one way or the other.

I highly recommend this little device for those of you, like me, stuck with an older model Sony digital camera that still takes good pics.Best of all, when I upgrade to a newer model it will still work!Be careful though to buy a 2 meg stick or less. It won't work with anything larger than that on an older model.

Sony Memory Stick MSAC-M2 Duo Replacement Adaptor (Retail Package)
i did not know that they change the design of the card . so i had to buy this one to fit
a 4 giga on my camera which works perfectly .

Perfect
I ordered this online because they no longer sell them in my local stores, thanks so much it was exactly what I wanted

DIRTY & USED, NOT PACKAGED AS ADVERTISED
The 2 MS I bought DID NOT come in a package. BOTH were dirty. I had to clean them but otherwise, they were functioning.

Very simple part - it does exactly what you expect. Seller did a good job shipping - got it within a few days of ordering. The price does vary on this - I think I paid less than a buck, so try to buy it when it is low. I now have the HDMI connection on my LCD TV connected to my computer just the way I want. Picture quality is excellent. Great buy.

Works so well, you foret they're there
As the old saying goes, no news is good news. This device does it's job so well, I had forgotten I got them.

Good product
This little thing works just as it should. Have had no problems with it, don't expect to. And it was dirt cheap. Very satisfied.

Comcast
Just know if you're trying to use this for a Comcast cable box for HDMI you won't be able to get any sound. The video looks fine and I imagine even the sound would be fine if I were using it for anything that could actually play sound, but I am not.

Good quality adapter.
This adapter has worked really good so far, the only thing I didn't like about it was the screws are hard to tighten down, I would have preferred the kind with slots on the end for use with a screw driver in hard to reach places, but it still worked for what I needed.

After having my second Apple Dock die, I was not really interested in spending 30 bucks for more of the same. I read the negative reviews about this cable, but figured at .00 even if it didn't work it wouldn't be the end of the world, unless it fried my Shuffle. All I can say is that it works just the same as the Dock did (when it worked) in a much easier-to-carry design. I ordered mine through Eforcity, who I have dealt with in the past with excellent results every time. I actually ordered another as soon as I was sure the cable worked properly.
As to problems others have encountered, I see there are multiple sellers, and they come up randomly when you view the product. I can only vouch for the one I got from Eforcity, and if the new one I ordered works the same you can color me happy. And, as stated, this is only for the 2nd Gen Shuffle shown in the listing. Just because you can plug it into any Ipod doesn't guarantee positive results...

can't beat it
It's the perfect, little size cord to charge or send data for the ipod shuffle. It worked right out of the box without hesitation.

Cheap and Easy
I bought this to bring my old iPod shuffle back to life as I lost the original dock years ago on a vacation. It works, and for just a couple of dollars shipped its all you need. I didn't even know if my iPod shuffle still worked, but for two dollars this was the perfect diagnoses. Now I know it works, and I'm very happy. This is also far more portable and easy to use over the dock that came with the iPod shuffle. It's great for traveling, I have no complaints.
